METHOD 1. Cream together the margarine and sugar and add the warmed syrup. 2. Mix the flour and ginger together to make a paste. 3. Mix the bicarbonate of soda and baking powder, together, with a little water to make a paste, and add to the mixture. 4. Divide the mixture and form into the number of balls required. 5. Place the portions onto a lightly greased tin and press flat. 6. Bake in a moderate oven for approximately 10 minutes. 7. Allow to cool and arrange biscuits neatly on a clean tin lid / serving tray.
