Drain and rinse the kidney beans. Put into a bowl and mash as much as you can. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
Peel the carrots and then very finely dice them and the red pepper and mushrooms. Combine all of the ingredients and leave to chill in the fridge.
Divide and form into 8 burger shapes. If wet then use as much flour as you need.
Fry in a little olive oil for approx. 5 mins each side until nicely coloured and cooked through. Alternatively you can lightly oil the tops of the burger and place into an oiled tray and oven bake but be careful as they will dry out.
